The MTM On/Off function opens a list or a selected Move, Tolerance, Measure, GD&T, Points, Measurement Output, Float, Envelop (GD&T) and Size Tolerances On or Off within a part or assembly.

Procedure:
1.Select MTM On/Off.
2.Select a Part or Assembly.
3.From the drop-down list, select either Move, Tolerance, Measure, GD&T, Points, Measure Output, Hole Pin Floating and Size Tolerances.
4.Search or Filter the name of any type. Wild cards are available to search/filter wider terms.
5.Select in the list section Activate to turn on, or Deactivate to turn the selection off.
Commands: At any time, you may switch to a different entity with the Current Entity Type drop-down list.
•Activate will display all items in the selected part or assembly on screen regardless of the original setting.
•Deactivate will hide all items in the selected part or assembly on screen regardless of the original setting.
•To select one item, click on it in the list. The Control and Shift keys can be used to select multiple items.
•Activate will display the selected items on screen regardless of the original setting.
•Deactivate will hide the selected items on screen regardless of the original setting.
•Highlight will display the points the same as Activate (active for points only).
•Toggle will toggle Activate/Highlight/Deactivate status of the selected items.
Start Index: Will list the features starting at a different index number. Type a desired index number in the Start Index field and click Update. This will hide the list of features labeled after the index specified. Change the start index number back to 1 to show the entire list again.
Search function allows the user to select all items that have the same string as part of their name and list them in a new window. Type in the full or part of the string in the Search field and then press Enter.
Filter function allows the user to select and list only the items that have the same string as part of their name. Type in the string in the Filter window and then press Enter. As a result, only the items that include the string will be listed in the list.
The Search and Filter function supports wild cards ("?" and "*") and text case sensitivity. |
The View Summary button will display a list of the features from the dialog.
Notes:From the list, users can not only Activate or Deactivate Moves, Tolerances, Measures, but also what's visually available, or in a 3DCS Model. •Measurement Output: refers to the actual output information produced by the measurement. When deactivating the output, it will not be used in the simulation. Some measurements may be used in a Conditional or Iterative logic within a Move. The measurement outputs are typically not required, then the user can decide to turn off the measurement's output. This can also be done in the Measure dialog. •Part Color Contour: Color Contour adds some visualization to a tolerance model. In some cases, users will only require specific parts to see if visual tolerance analysis output. This setting allows users to Show or Hide a part or assemblies Color Contour display.
