When selecting points it may be difficult to select a specific point with the mouse pointer. 3DCS has the capability to select by picking a point or window-select a group of points. When selecting a point, right-click on the background and drag the mouse to draw a rectangle around a set of points. A dialog box listing the captured points will appear when the mouse button is released. Highlight the desired point(s) in the list and select OK. This dialog box is resizable and displays point descriptions and parent parts.

When window selecting multiple points in the graphics tree, 3DCS will lists all of the points that was selected. |
When selecting points for a Step Plane/Six Plane move, 3DCS will count the selection of points, depending on the amount a move or tolerance will need. |
