All 3DCS Configurations:
•All 3DCS data work in the PLM systems, such as Windchill, Teamcenter, 3DEXPERIENCE and SmarTeams.
•Linked to CAD features: With 3DCS remaining linked to the CAD geometry, any changes made to the CAD can be updated to the 3DCS model. If any used geometry changes size or shape, 3DCS will be able to update the features and commands with the changes.
•Quickly create or extract functions: 3DCS contains various extract functions that make it quick and easy to build a 3DCS model.
oIf the model contains GD&T or PMI, use Extract GD&T to create it in 3DCS.
oOr if the model is built using Joints and Constraints, use Extract Moves or Extract Constraints to quickly build the assembly process in 3DCS.
•Generate Reports from DVM, MVM, and VA models, using Microsoft Office, Google Suite or HTML.

3DCS Variation Analyst is a powerful dimensional analysis tool that predicts the amounts of variation and highlights the causes for part and process variation in multi-stage assemblies. It empowers manufacturers to prevent build problems by quickly evaluating part tolerances, assembly tooling and sequencing ahead of time in the product development stage, so that desired fit and function specifications are achieved in production.
•The main configuration for 3DCS. It has a lot features and functions to build a tolerance model, including User-DLLs, Point and Feature based moves, tolerances and measures; in addition to various add-on packages like Advanced Analyzer and Optimizer, Compliant Modeler, and Mechanical Modeler.
Design Variation Modeler (DVM) is a subset of 3DCS Variation Analyst and an easy to use equation-based 3D Dimensional analysis tool, integrated in all the major CAD Platforms. DVM is intended for components assembled in one station with planar and axial locating features.
•Create Moves, GD&T and Measures, or use the Extract functions to automatically and quickly create Moves, GD&T and Measures.
•Use Deviate to view affects of the tolerance deviations, use Animation to view the moves or assembly process.
•Run GeoFactor and Contributor Analysis to see how the tolerances affect the measures, or review the results with GeoFactor Matrix or Critical Tolerance Identifier.
•Report the results in HTML, Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
Mechanical Variation Modeler (MVM) is built on the 3DCS platform incorporating Joints and Constraints into its base functionality to model complicated linkages and mechanical assemblies. Users will be able to validate functionality of mechanical systems such as suspension systems, Gear Shifters, landing gear, doors, switches, IC Engine and other mechanisms, view and report the model in a Monte Carlo and Contributor Analysis results.
•Create Moves, GD&T and Measures, or use the Extract functions to automatically and quickly create Moves, GD&T and Measures.
•Use Deviate to view affects of the tolerance deviations, use Animation to view the moves or assembly process.
•Run Monte Carlo Analysis, GeoFactor Equation-Based Analysis, and Contributor Analysis to see how the tolerances affect the measures, or review the results with GeoFactor Matrix or Critical Tolerance Identifier.
•Report the results in HTML, Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
3DCS Viewer is a tool for users to view 3DCS results and Animate through the build sequence. Users will only need to open a model that contains 3DCS data and load files that contains 3DCS results.
•Open a model and use Nominal Build to assemble the model, or Animate to see the sequence of the moves.
•Use Deviate to view affects of the tolerance deviations.
•Import the Histogram and Contributor data. View the results and see how they affect the CAD model.
•Open any function and see the GD&T range, applied Datum Reference Frames, Measure Limits, .
•All 3DCS models can be reviewed using 3DCS Viewer. (Variation Analyst, Mechanical, Compliant add-ons; MVM and DVM).
