Below are the minimum System and Software requirements to run all versions of 3DCS.

Locale - Delimiter compatibility:

3DCS is compatible with locale-based decimal symbol, Period or Comma delimiter types. Within 3DCS, the software will not change the user locale or system setting.

Multi-Thread:

3DCS can allow users to utilize their available computer cores to improve the speed and run time, running a Monte Carlo Simulation, Analysis, and Advanced Analyzer and Optimizer. The setting can be found only in the Simulation dialog.

•0 threads will run the single thread legacy seed generation. A single license is required for up to 8 threads. Another 3DCS license is pulled for every 8 additional threads.

oFor example: 16 threads requires 2 3DCS licenses;

o17 threads requires 3 licenses.

oMax 64 threads requires 8 licenses.

•The maximum allowed number of threads is determined by what your hardware can support.
