This Help list can be used as for references with example models and training manual. When using as a reference, the Index section will be the most useful for locating information. When using this manual as a training guide, the Content section will be the most useful.
The 3DCS Help and About 3DCS commands can be found in the 3DCS Menu.

•On the 3DCS Toolbar, find the . This brings up the 3DCS application window displaying the Index page.
•Click on the Contents button to view the Help File information by topic.
•Click on Index if you wish to view information about a specific topic by using keywords.
3DCS Help: The 3DCS Help option displays the 3DCS application Help window, showing a help Index of various topics about the program.
Software Upgrades: For software upgrades please navigate to: http://www.3dcs.com/download-dimensional-analysis-software.html
Modeling Support: For general modeling questions, head to the Community site: community.3dcs.com
Report Software Issues: To report issues with the software, head to the http://helpdesk.3dcs.com If you don't have a HelpDesk account, go to http://www.3dcs.com/technical-support.html to get started.

Log File: Clicking on the Log File brings up a file for viewing in Text command or Microsoft Notepad. The 3DCS Log File displays the address paths to several locations that 3DCS will use, such as the Log File, the Model Report, the Help File directory. It also lists the functions that the user performed while building the model.
•The Log File contains the file paths to the Help Manual, Config file, and the software installation locations.
•Saving a copy of the Log File and sending it to the Tech Support team helps to understand any issues that come up when running 3DCS.
The Model Information function displays a summary of the new or current model being accessed. It stores file name, 3DCS version, user and computer names, Operating system, file date and time, and each time the model was saved.
MSWordDelaySeconds - Adds a delay when opening Word in 3DCS when editing part notes from any MTM or GD&T dialog. (69256)
•A Test routine is available to see if this option will help users open Word documents from 3DCS. Open the User-DLL load dialog and add the dcu_mfc_fn.dll, under the Add-Ins/Extra_dlls folder. In the drop-down list,
