Offset Tolerances in SBS

The Coefficients are only used if the contributor ranges (n-STD) are changed in SBS.  They reflect but do not affect the Amounts and Percentages calculated when the ranges are not changed.

Here is how SBS behaves when the tolerance is specified with an offset:

If a contributor is an equal bilateral tolerance, e.g. +/-0.5 mm, SBS assumes that when the tolerance is "off," the range and offset should be zero.  If the tolerance is increased, it should remain an equal bilateral tolerance, e.g. +/-0.75 mm.

If a contributor is an unilateral tolerance, e.g. +1/-0 mm, SBS assumes that when the tolerance is "off," the range and offset should be zero.  If the tolerance is increased, it should remain an unilateral tolerance, e.g. +1.5/-0 mm.

If a contributor has a range of zero, then SBS assumes the user wants to control the offset while the range is left at zero.  E.g, when the tolerance is on it is +1/+1 mm, when it is "off" it is +0/+0 mm, and when it is increased it is +1.5/+1.5 mm.
