to review and understand the start up Model.
The Model have 3 Gears and 3 Bearings which need to be assembled to its Nominal Position and also Toleranced before we get into the Gear Modeler to calculate all the Gear based output Measurements. In this lesson we will go through this as we review the completed Model which have the Points, Moves and GD&Ts.
Expand the point list of each Gear which has three points: CntPt1, CntPt2 and ClockPt which we will be using it in the Gear Modeler.
• All the Gears are build to their Bearings using Feature Moves.
• The assembly has 3 Feature Moves and it is grouped under the Move list.
•All the Gears and Bearings are toleranced.
•Under each Gear and Bearing part expand the GD&T list folder to click through the GD&Ts to see how the features are Toleranced.
Graphical Analysis
• Nominal Build the Model to see how the model gets assembled.
• Deviate the Model to see the Tolerance getting applied on all the parts.
