VII. Unclamp the Muffler and the Pipe and the Pipe to the Manifold (un_Clamp_Muffler and un_Clamp_Pipe)

 

 

7.1 Select theUnclamp Move icon and choose the ExhaustAsm product as parent part.

7.2 Name the move "un_Clamp_Muffler".

7.3 Click on the [ClickToAdd] button in the Unclamping Object Pts section and select points Muffler_A1, Muffler_A2, and Muffler_A3 on the Muffler from the Navigation Tree or from the Graph window.

7.4 Select smoothing check box to use Smoothing.

The completed dialog box should appear as below:

 

 

7.5 Click [OK] to close the dialog box.

7.6 Repeat steps 7.1 to 7.5 for Pipe points Pipe_A1, Pipe_A2, and Pipe_A3.

Results:

The nominal values of the measurements after unclamping the Muffler, and the Pipe remain unchanged.
