3DCS requires to use MSR (Model, Simulation and Results) to contain the 3DCS data in 3DEXPERIENCE. The storage items are called Simulations, which store 3DCS Data. The 3DCS data will use Assembly Structure and Instance Names to define the 3DCS model tree structure. Both Kinematic Simulation and Manufacturing Simulation will allow users to store 3DCS data.
