Sometimes it is necessary to modify the Geometric Entities of a 3DCS model. The main reasons for modifying geometry are: if the original design has changed or if the assembly information has changed.
If the original design has changed, DCS Points may need to be relocated, or Circles may need new sizes. If the assembly information has changed, then DCS Points may need to be moved to the new assembly locations.
Modifying Geometric Entities is a simple process for finding the correct modeling element, then changing one or more of its parameters.
All geometry elements can be modified in 3-Dcs by accessing the Geometry Modify menu.
