3DCS allows users to export their 3DCS data information into an Excel format. This feature will allow the user to see their 3DCS MTM, Point and GD&T information and allow them to update the information. Update Feature Points: If this is checked, the position (x, y, z) of a feature point is changed, it will be converted to a DCS point and all of its information will be updated. Names of all the updated points will be reported in a dialog box. •"DCS Objects" are MTM's (Moves, Tolerances and Measure), GD&T, Circles, Slots, Mesh & Points. |
Update Description (On/Off): Update Description allows the user to update the MTM description while in Excel. If box is not checked the descriptions will remain as before exporting to Excel. Update Method: All users will be able to Update a 3DCS Model. To create or delete features in 3DCS, users will be required to have a current Excel Create license. Update: Only data of existing 3DCS Objects (excluding feature points) will be updated with content of Excel workbook. Nothing will be deleted. Merge: (Add and Update): If new 3DCS objects will be added, existing 3DCS objects will be updated with content of Excel workbook. Replace (Add, Update, and Delete): If checked, new 3DCS objects will be added, existing 3DCS objects will be updated, and all 3DCS objects that do not exist in the Excel workbook will be deleted. (Add, Update and Delete). |
