The 
Save functions will only save a WTX file. The WTX file format accommodates all data saved in the model. To save a model in a different file format, use the Export function.
Save Saves the active 3DCS file in its respective directory denoted by the file path.
Procedure:
1.Click Menu and Save. This saves the currently displayed file to the file name and path previously specified.
2.If the save feature is used for the first time after a new file is opened the File Save As dialog box is displayed to define the file path.
Save As: Saves the active 3DCS file to the file path by the file name denoted by the user.
Procedure:
1.Click Menu and Save As.
2.Choose the appropriate file path and type in the file name you would like the file to be saved as.
3.Click on OK to complete the procedure. Click on Cancel to quit the operation.
