Branch Tree

This function displays only the geometry and MTM (moves, tolerances, and measurement) information of the selected sub-level of the assembly tree in the Graph and Tree windows.  This is a useful tool for debugging because the user can focus on smaller sections of the model.

 

Procedure:        

•Click on View Branch Tree

OR

•Click in the Tree window with the right mouse button, and select Branch Tree from the pop-up menu.

•This displays the Click Tree window dialog box.  Select the part you wish to have as the most right branch level.  This part now becomes the root part for the model although the name will not change to root.  All branched parts are still accessible.

 

 

Expand Tree

This function displays the entire tree of the model after the tree has been branched.

 

Procedure:        

•Click on View Expand Tree

OR

•Click in the Tree window with the right mouse button, and select Expand Tree from the pop-up menu.

•The entire tree will now be accessible.

 

 

Expand to Parent

This function displays the tree one level up from your previous level of the model after the tree has been branched.

 

Procedure:        

•Click on View Expand To Parent

OR

•Click in the Tree window with the right mouse button, and select Expand To Parent from the pop-up menu.

•The entire tree one level up from your previous level will now be accessible.
