UnClamp Base Skip Deformation

XXI. UnClamp Base Skip Deformation (Un_Clamp_Base__A1-A3_SkipDef)

 

Purpose and usage:

To move the sub assembly to the next location without deforming the parts any further.

Will unclamp the points without deforming the parts. The part/assembly (already relaxed relative to the last clamps), will keep the shape until it is clamped in the next stage.

 

21.1 Apply UnClamp with Skip Deformation to the clamped Base points A1_Base, A2_Base and A3_Base.

21.1.1 Select theunclamp_mv_24Unclamp Move icon and choose the CMRailAsm product as parent part.

21.1.2 Name the move "Un_Clamp_Base__A1-A3_SkipDef".

21.1.3 Click on the [ClickToAdd] button in the Unclamping Object Pts section and select points A1_Base, A2_Base and A3_Base on the Base from the Navigation Tree or from the Graph window.

21.1.4 Add a check mark for the Skip Deformation box.

21.1.5 Select smoothing check box to use Smoothing.

The completed dialog box should appear as below:

21.1.6 Click [OK] to close the dialog box.

 

Results:

The nominal values of the measurements after unclamping with skip deformation will remain the same as the previous operation, Contact.
