Combined Feature

The clip0144Combined Feature is used in the Dimensioning Location tolerance, where the user will need to select a group of features that is referenced in the tolerance.

To create the the dimensioning location GD&T shown above, the user first need to create a combined feature for all the 4 pin top surfaces.

 

Procedure

1.Click the clip0144Combined Feature function from the Feature Creation tab, drop down menu under Dynamic Points.

2.Click the create button and start selecting the top surfaces of all 4 pins

3.The name may be edited in the Name field.

4.Click OK to create the combined feature.

 

Notes:

•The clip0144Combined Feature will be available in the Model Navigator under Features node.

•The user will be able to select the clip0144 Combined Feature in the Dimensioning location GD&T to define deviated feature or the origin feature.
