Dimension defined using PMIAnnotationsFT&AMBD Dimension/DimXpert will be extracted into 3DCS as Dimensional Distance Measurement.
•The Dimensions created in CAD should have defined range, displayed as ±, Upper/Lower limits, or Plus/Minus tolerance range.
•The Toleranced values will be extracted as the Spec Limits in the measure dialog.
•The dimensions created only between 2 features will be extracted.
CATIA V5: Users will need to create either a 
Linear Tolerance or the 
Origin Linear Tolerance, from the Tolerance Advisor, to extract as a 
Dimensional Distance measure.
3DEXPERIENCE: Users will first need to create a Leaf Product in the assembly, by creating a 3D Part. Switch the app to 3D Tolerance and Annotation and create either a Linear Tolerance or the Origin Linear Tolerance, from the Tolerance Advisor, to extract as a Dimensional Distance measure.
Solidworks: Users will need to create a 
Location Dimension to extract as a Dimensional Distance Measure.
NX: Users can use the 
Simple Distance measure to create a 
Feature Measure. Creating a Linear Size Tolerance will create a Dimensional Distance measure.
