Settings: Utilities and Preferences

3DCS and NX both come with their respective settings. 3DCS' can be found once the user logo Loads 3DCS-NX..., and then selects DVTI_dcsOptions Preferences. All 3DCS settings can be found there.

NX also has it's own slew of settings under the Utilities dialog. Go to File arrowDCS Utilities arrowDCS Customer Defaults. This houses most settings available to NX.

 

Some settings to take note:

 

•Editing the Units: In the Customer Defaults, go to Gateway arrowDCS General to edit the default setting that will be used when creating new Assemblies or Models in NX.

•Editing PMI settings: Utilities arrowDCS Customer Defaults arrowDCS Scroll down to the PMI settings.
