Standard Search
All files newly created or imported are saved in the PLM system in 3DEXEPERIENCE. You will need to specify a feature type and the part name. For example: a Physical Product (Prd) is feature type in CATIA V6.
Note:•CATIA V6 (2014) and 3DEXPERIENCE (2014x) do not need to add Wildcards for searching. •CATIA V6 (2013x) needs to use Wildcards to search the PLM system.
|
With a feature type specified, 3DEXERPIENCE will change the search to all Physical Products. Type a name of the document you're searching for. It's not necessary to add wildcards when searching a document. If you know the name of the part or the assembly, you can type in the first few words. For example: "Lamp" for the HeadLamp model, associated with the HeadLamp tutorial. This should list all products with Lamp in the name.
