Nominal-Point

The DVTI_ptdist Nominal Point measurement calculates the deviation of a point relative to its nominal position.

Input requirements:

Measure Type: Nominal-Point

Geometry Requirement: 1 point

Direction Mode: True Distance, Projected on Vector, Projected on Plane

Direction: (Projected on Vector, Projected on Plane)

Notes:

A Point's Nominal location is determined by the point's location in the Nominally Built position of the part.

If the measure is at the Part or Subassembly level, then the Nominal location is set when the measure is taken, not at the final Nominally Built position.
