Measure Type: Nominal-Point
Geometry Requirement: 1 point
Direction Mode: True Distance, Projected on Vector, Projected on Plane
Direction: (Projected on Vector, Projected on Plane)
Direction Mode: True DistanceThe measurement calculates the true distance between the nominal and current positions of the point. The measurement cannot be negative. No direction vector applies. This mode may produce incorrect Contributor Analysis or GeoFactor Equation-Based results, see Analysis Comparison & Assumptions.
Direction Mode: Projected on VectorThe measurement calculates the component of the true distance in the direction specified. The measurement will be negative if the component of the vector from the nominal position to the current position is in the opposite direction of the direction vector.
Direction Mode: Projected on PlaneThe measurement calculates the true distance as it is viewed from the direction specified. The measurement cannot be negative. This mode may produce incorrect Contributor Analysis or GeoFactor Equation-Based results, see Analysis Comparison & Assumptions.
