7.6.0.1 - June 2019
Below are a list of changes, enhancements and resolved issues based on the entire 3DCS suite or a specific CAD system available with 3DCS. Please review the list of changes and don't hesitate to ask about a specific change.
Any text written with a teal highlight refers to any Simulation Output change. In other words, some calculation changes were made to either a distribution, a measurement output or DLL result. This could result in minor changes to a previous Model Simulation output.
Advanced Analyzer and Optimizer
Multi-Core: 3DCS can allow users to utilize their available computer cores to improve the speed and run time, running a Monte Carlo Simulation, GeoFactor Analysis, and Advanced Analyzer and Optimizer.GD&T•The Feature Clocking option will remain activate after selecting and applying. (65152). •The GD&T Summary page will now display the DRF information correctly. (65218) •Cylindricity definition will not have any DRF linked in the GD&T. (65203) •The newly added GD&T using Add Frame will always add the GD&T to the bottom of the list in the Tree. (64867) Move•Surface screen direction calculation is changed from Average to LSQ. Feature Info dialog should show the LSQ screen position and direction. (65637) Dialog•Running SBS will no more crash the software when other actions are tried to perform (64854) Validate•Remove unnecessary error check for pattern rigid in validate. (64648) File IO•The 'cst' expression is not added to the file names anymore when generating matrices using a batch file in StiffGen.

7.6.0.1 3DCS is now available in Creo version 6.0! (64954) Display•Added "Show Preselection Mesh" function in Creo which will display the MTMs in the Graphics when Mouse Hovered from the Model Navigator. •Mesh will no more blink on Sweeping. (60554) •Feature link display arrows will not disappear if mouse hovered on Model Navigator.(64685) •Switching between assembly/Part windows will no more close the Model Navigator. (65160) •Point selection from the graphics can now be done on Models with Reps. (65112) Tree•When a feature point and its feature are deleted at the same, a size tolerance will not be created. When a feature point's feature is deleted, the created size tolerance will be set to deactivated. (65237) Dialog•The Associate direction in the Force Measure, Force/Torque Move and Pattern Compliant Move dialog will get updated instantly on adding, deleting or reordering the features. (63575) |
---|
Display•Improved visualization in NX with Deviate and Animation functions. (57977) •Improved the Model Navigator selection. Selecting a part or the Root, while editing a Move, Tolerance or Measure from the Model Creation toolbar, users will be able to select the part. (64127). •Improved the Deviation and Animation speed on bigger models (61930) •Switching workbench in NX when the model is in build position, returning to 3DCS workbench requires Update Model, this will now Separate the Model correctly as the message says.(64939). •Features will only be picked through the selection dialog from any MTM dialog and the features selected in previous will not be selected automatically and added.(64955) •Fixed issue where changing the V coordinate of a center feature point would give an incorrect position on the hole or pin. Tree•When a feature point and its feature are deleted at the same, a size tolerance will not be created. When a feature point's feature is deleted, the created size tolerance will be set to deactivated. (65237) Points•Fixed an issue where Points created on mesh get converted to DCS Points on doing update model.(64741) GD&T•The Rate of Change information, in the GD&T Options tab, will be applied and saved in 3DCS. (65132). •PMI Dimension Name from NX can now be extracted into 3DCS. (64119) •The newly added GD&T using Add Frame will always add the GD&T to the bottom of the list in the Tree. (64867) Dialog•The selection dialog for all update functions and MTM selections will pop up first even though the parts were previously selected. (63890) •The Associate direction in the Force Measure, Force/Torque Move and Pattern Compliant Move dialog will get updated instantly on adding, deleting or reordering the features. (63575) Preferences•The min segment value setting is changed in the Preference dialog to accept values >=0. (64818) Modeling•In NX having a assembly with Multi instance Sub assemblies, will move all the instances together while trying to move only one part from the sub asm. In order to break this link the user need to override the position of the part to make it to move individually. This rule applies to 3DCS also, even though 3DCS will only try to move one part of the sub asm, NX multi instance will not allow the user to do so, override position has to be done even then. (64621) |
Dialog•Fixed a Crash in CATIA when the second item is selected without selecting the first item in object or target list in the Move Dialog. (64778) Simulation•Re-opening a previous Simulation Window will not automatically add the Feature Name to the Contributor name. (63897) |
Issues Resolved (3DEXPERIENCE)
Simulation•Fixed an issue with 3DCS in 3DEXPEREINCE 2018x. This version has caused the Simulation output results to have unexpected values. (65229). •Re-opening a previous Simulation Window will not automatically add the Feature Name to the Contributor name. (63897) |
---|
Preferences•Removed the Configuration saving method in the 3DCS Preferences under the Configuration tab. Settings will be automatically saved after closing 3DCS. Tree•When a feature point and its feature are deleted at the same, a size tolerance will not be created. When a feature point's feature is deleted, the created size tolerance will be set to deactivated. (65237) Saving/Loading•Resolved .fbx export scaling issue. (64780) Dialog•The Associate direction in the Force Measure, Force/Torque Move and Pattern Compliant Move dialog will get updated instantly on adding, deleting or reordering the features. (63575)
