What's New in Compliant Modeller?
Any text written with a teal highlight refers to any Simulation Output change. In other words, some calculation changes were made to either a distribution, a measurement output or DLL result. This could result in minor changes to a previous Model Simulation output.
Enhancements and Resolved Issues (7.9.0.2)

General•Enhanced the icons and overall display of the Model Navigator and dialogs. StiffGen•Copy files to Model Directory button in StiffGen will copy the FEA files generated through StiffGen from Temp directory to Model directory. •The Generate FEA Files button in StiffGen dialog becomes available only after user selects the units for the mesh file. •Dependent mesh nodes used in Abaqus mesh connectors will not be selected through STiffGen anymore. •Dependent mesh nodes used in Nastran mesh RBEs will not be selected through STiffGen anymore. •Mass unit is added to StiffGen to support Mass Matrix creation. •ASETs are now added to the mesh file, even if comments above 'node' line were removed. •ASET points will now remain unlinked, unless the FEA Mesh is refreshed manually. •Products are now selectable in StiffGen for stiffness file generation. •StiffGen can now call the solver via a batch file set up by the user.
Load FEA Data•FEA files path in Load FEA Data dialog can be edited by double-clicking the path. •Thermal Move is supported in MSC Nastran and NEi Nastran Clamp•Clamping with insufficient force will execute the move based on the applied force and report the necessary force value to completely close the clamp. •Soft clamp maintains contact between points in the associated direction during the simulation when using the decomposition option. •If a point is clamped in two separate clamp moves without unclamping the first move, the second clamp will be ignored. Unclamp•Run Log no longer shows pop-up warnings when "Skip Deformation" is checked in unclamp moves. The Reaction Force routine was added to help calculate the forces needed for clamp or weld operations.

Analysis Improvements
Updated the StiffGen LinkDcsPt option, to automatically create an ASET at the closest node for each modeling point, when checked ON.

Settings and Modeling Tips
When using the StiffGen to generate ASET's, any previously created ASET-set must be manually commented out or deleted by the user, otherwise the number of ASETs will be larger then the number of modeling points.
